Barbelle Cover
Words and Music by The Three Peppers (Bob Bell, Walter Williams & Roy Branker)
This is a RARE piece. I have been unable to find another.
Condition is good. No splits. No writing. There is a piece missing out the top front cover corner. Publisher Cherio Music, 1942.
Some of the Lyrics are: FIGHT WITH UNCLE SAM 'Cause he's in a jam He will pay you double for, your trouble, Who? UNCLE SAM We are go Rome, Berlin and Tokio .....
Jazz trio popular in the late 1930s consisting of Charles "Toy" Wilson on piano and vocals, Bob Bell on guitar and vocals and Walter Williams on bass. Roy Banker replaced Wilson in 1938 and he remained with the group until they disbanded in the 1940s.
