1. This is a rare type of moss agate from Indonesia. It's a captivating little landscape ~ like having a window into a mossy forest, and filled with the most unusual shades of plum and lavender.
2. This pendant is created with the cutest little clear icicle of quartz.
She's set with a crown of aquatic blue larimar, and a lush natural turquoise.
Both come with original stainless steel chains !
It's sheathed in a dark oxidized metal using a stained glass method called tiffany technique.
The metalwork is done directly onto each crystal, using layers of silver, lead-free solder over copper.
I finish my pieces with a dark oxidizing patina and polish them to create a really ancient look ~ like unearthed treasure. I try to create a mythological feeling pieces that celebrate natural beauty. The result is that each piece has a second skin of textured metalwork, formed to each unique crystal.
